Ministry: Debt of Russian regions to rise 7.7% to 2.5 tln rbl 2017
MOSCOW, Nov 27 (PRIME) -- Combined debt of Russian regions may rise 7.7% in 2017 to 2.535 trillion rubles, Konstantin Vyshkovsky, director of the Finance Ministry’s state debt and state financial assets department, said in a presentation on Monday.
Combined borrowings through issues of securities will jump to 352 billion rubles in 2017 from 154 billion rubles in 2016, and the amount of security-issuing regions may rise to 40 from 22.
The regions will also raise 1.498 trillion rubles through banking loans and 955 billion rubles through budget loans this year, the presentation read.
